Children’s Place Learning Center
Where It Started
Our Philosophy
At Children’s Place Learning Center, we believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions. Our approach is centered on the whole child by supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development at every stage.
We recognize that each child develops at their own pace, and we provide developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence. Through a balance of child-led and teacher-guided activities, children are given opportunities to explore, problem-solve and build confidence.
We are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment where every child and family feels welcomed and valued. By building strong relationships with families, we create a supportive community that enhances each child’s learning experience.
Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning by making each day meaningful, engaging, and full of discovery.
Mission Statement

We partner with families to nurture each child’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence, while supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Through meaningful relationships and hands-on exploration, we inspire a lifelong love of learning in every child.
Vision Statement
At Children’s Place Learning Center, we envision a nurturing community where every child feels valued, confident, and inspired to explore the world around them.
Through meaningful relationships and play-based-intentional learning, we strive to build a strong foundation while providing nutritious meals for lifelong learning, growth, and success for every child and family we serve.
Our Services

Play-Based Intentional Learning Curriculum
At Children’s Place Learning Center, our curriculum combines exploration, experimentation, and discovery through play-based intentional learning. Children learn best through play-based experiences that are intentionally planned, responsive to their development, and supported by meaningful interactions with adults. Learning is sensory and relationship-based such as secure attachment, touch, eye contact and communication for infants. Learning becomes more active and exploratory such as movement, repetition, and simple problem solving for toddlers. Learning becomes more social, imaginative, and complex, while play supports language, cooperation, creativity and independence for preschoolers.
